Altitude Variator

Altitude Variator

The Altitude Variator is a molded modular element of the Bioisotherm SRL ARGISOL line. It is used in suitable courses in order to reach non-standard inter-floor heights. The Altitude Variator is made in the measures H. 5 cm, with insulating thickness from 6.2 - 7.3 - 12.3 - 17.3 cm. Argisol is a modular construction system, consisting of a complete series of pre-assembled formwork blocks with which load-bearing walls in cast-in-situ reinforced concrete are created, thermally insulated and ready for the final finish. The various elements consist of two sheets of variable thickness in Neopor® expanded polystyrene, spaced by galvanized sheet brackets incorporated in the block during the molding phase which make the two sheets integral and equidistant, guaranteeing the seal of the formwork during the pouring of concrete. The spacers are suitably shaped for housing the horizontal reinforcement bars. Argisol, is the fastest and cheapest way to create low energy impact buildings (Class A, NZEB).
Specification
  • Creation of a concrete elevation wall, of the total thickness, net of external finishes varying from 30-35-40-45cm, made with an on-site casting of concrete (resistance class Rck 30N / mm2 and consistency S4 or as required by relationship of reinforced concrete structures), carried out in a single solution (generally up to a height of 3.00-4.00-5.00m) with an average thickness of 16.5 - 21.5cm in a self-supporting formwork that will remain as an insulating element of the wall itself giving it a thermal transmittance value U (depending on the chosen insulation) equal to 0.22-0.16-0.13 W / mqK (constant over time). The formwork will consist of modular formwork elements, 30cm high, made up of two sheets of different thickness (internal thickness equal to 62mm, external thickness chosen from 73-123-173mm) in expanded polystyrene Neopor® (eps with improved conductivity ), self-extinguishing with high density, joined by spacers in galvanized steel sheet incorporated in the polystyrene during the molding phase. The formworks will be dry laid up to the floor height. Simultaneously with the laying of each course of formwork, the horizontal reinforcing bars will be laid in the spacer housing (as per structural calculation). Once the floor height has been reached, the vertical reinforcing bars are lowered from above (as per structural calculation). In the last phase, the concrete will be cast inside the formworks previously shored with special equipment to ensure verticality.
