Elevate your space with the stylish fixtures of Faux|Real. Whether using natural wood, heavy gauge steel or a simulated finish, each fixture can be customized to match your design aesthetic.

FAUX uses four standard, wood-like finishes, but nearly any design concept can be made to order. Choose between high resolution faux wood finishes of walnut, cherry, pine or white oak. The finish is comprised of a multi-stage application process that produces durable, high resolution imagery. For a custom faux finish – like realistic textures, corporate branding or abstract graphics – nearly any manner of custom imagery can be applied.

REAL luminaires feature furniture grade, hand finished wood planks or heavy gauge Corten steel side cladding. The solid wood options available are walnut, European beech, mahogany, white oak, bamboo ply and nine-ply Baltic birch with maple face. As with any natural material, the color and grain of the wood and the surface finish patina of the steel will vary slightly from piece to piece, making each fixture a true original.

Specification

FAUX Finishes: Four standard simulated wood finishes available along with nearly limitless custom options. Finish comprised of a multi-stage application process that produces durable, high resolution imagery.
REAL Finishes: Wood side cladding is 1/2" thick, furniture grade, in solid walnut, European beech, mahogany, white oak and bamboo ply or nine-ply Baltic birch with maple face. Solid wood planks and bamboo ply are hand finished in five to seven coats of clear shellac and sealed with clear liquid wax for a natural look and easy cleaning. Baltic birch planks are available with a clear shellac finish or water-based stain with clear sealer. Corten steel side cladding is 14 gauge with matte clear powder coat finish and includes button head fasteners in black finish. Optional decorative hardware with black finish available for wood cladding.

Light Distribution: Direct or direct/indirect, depending on fixture.
Lens: All fixtures are fitted with a flush lens. FAUX31 is available with a flush lens or drop lens with solid or luminous ends.
Batwing distribution option available for FAUX31 indirect optic.
Parabolic louver option available for certain fixtures.
Mounting: Surface mount, wall mount or cable suspended options available, depending on fixture.
Materials: Extruded aluminum housing, extruded, frosted acrylic lens and machined aluminum endcaps. REAL fixtures also include wood or steel cladding.
Lengths: Available in nominal lengths of 2’–8’ single fixtures and continuous runs, depending on fixture.
Wiring: Basic continuous run fixtures provided with 18 ga. wiring harness for 6 Amp maximum load. Consult factory for runs requiring multiple circuits, sensor integration, etc.
Driver: Standard integral 120-277V driver offered with 0-10V dimming or non-dim. Other dimming driver options available.
Emergency Driver: Integral 120-277V emergency battery backup available for certain fixtures. Consult factory for details.
Color Temperature: LEDs available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, within a 3 step MacAdam ellipse, all with 90+ CRI typical.
Occupancy Sensor: Passive infrared occupancy sensor available for FAUX30 and FAUX32.
Life: 50,000 hours L₇₀
