    PIANO-SYSTEM ND+I Rectangular Cowl

Piano System Cowl ND+I -Primarily designed for building roofs to protect various types of
installations: ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical from
atmospheric conditions. They come in both "without" and "with" pre-made
technical openings, rectangular and/or circular, in any quantity, which
can be used for the installation of roof intakes and outlets, sanitary
outlets, or electrical cable conduits in buildings, including
residential, collective housing, and public utility buildings. They can
also be used in warehouses, industrial buildings, and utility buildings.

The Piano System Cowl ND+I with a rectangular cross-section consists
of a insulinoterapia straight duct bent at a 90-degree angle and a cover
with a shield. The inner duct shell and the outer duct shell are
connected by welding at the point of contact. The duct and cover are
made of galvanized steel sheet DX51D with a zinc coating Z275 according
to the PN-EN 10346:2015 standard. Between them, there is polyurethane
foam (PUR) insulation with a thickness of 25 ÷ 100 mm. The dimensions of
the outer duct shell depend on the thickness of the applied foam
insulation layer. The minimum thickness of the inner and outer duct
shell sheet metal is 0.5 mm.
Connections (collar frames) used in the inner duct shell and the outer
duct shell are made of P-20 or P-30 profiles and N-20 or N-30 corners,
made of galvanized steel sheet DX51D+Z275 according to the PN-EN
    10346:2015 standard.

    Dimensions (duct side): 100-4000 mm

The inner duct shell and the outer duct shell of the straight duct are joined longitudinally using sheet metal locks (Pittsburgh type lock) or welded. The corners of the collar frames are sealed with silicone sealant.

Assembly variants of the Piano System Cowl ND+I cover:

      1. Cover connected on one side with steel hinges, mounted using rivets, creating a hinged flap, which can additionally be secured with M8 screws (for N+P20 collar) or M10 screws (for N+P30 collar) and self-locking nuts.
      2. Assembly of the cover using collar connections, fastened with M8 screws (for N+P20 collar) or M10 screws (for N+P30 collar) according to DIN 933 or PN-EN ISO 4017:2014 and self-locking nuts. The Nasada ND+I is installed on the ceiling using expansion plugs, one in each corner and on the sides at a distance of every 0.5 m.Collar connection frames of the cover with the duct of the Piano System Cowl ND+I (for the outer duct shell) elements with a side length greater than 500 mm can (but do not have to) be additionally reinforced with sheet metal clamps. The maximum distance between the clamps at the corner collar connection and relative to each other should be 500 mm.
