Single phase LV Dry Type Transformer

4.2 out of 5 stars4.2(13 reviews)

ABB is pleased to announce the release of a new line of General Purpose Single-phase LV Dry Type transformers with 3-wire secondary voltage for 120/240 V systems. These new units join our comprehensive family of transformers designed to provide long life, quiet, and reliable operation. ABB's 9T33 line of Low Voltage Dry Type Single-phase transformers are for applications requiring a 3-wire secondary voltage for 120/240 V systems.  These QL transformers come in standard NEMA 2 (IP20) enclosures with rain shield kits available as accessories for NEMA 3R (IP22) installations. The transformer is used to obtain the load voltage from the distribution voltage while providing galvanic isolation. Since no vaults are required for installation, these transformers can be located right at the load to provide the correct voltage for the application. This eliminates the need for long, low voltage feeders.

Application

Indoor or outdoor (with optional rain shield kit), single-phase step-down transformer installations requiring a 3-wire secondary voltage for 120/240 V systems.

Also available for 2-wire, 120 x 240 V applications. Primary voltages are 240 x 480.

Optional wall mount brackets are available for most models.

Target markets

Available for sale in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. General Purpose Single-phase Transformers meets both DOE 2016 (10 CFR Part 431) and Canadian NRCan (CSA 802.2) efficiency requirements.
