Specification
  • Hydraulic Automatic (HA) retractable automatic bollard FAAC J275 HA 2K 20 for intensive usage in perimeter security applications. Tested in accordance to ASTM F2656-07 standard (“Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers”), via software 3D simulation. APPLICATIONS: Vehicular access control in critical areas, like: military sites, airports, embassies, consulates, banks, marine zones, prisons, industrial sites or wherever is required an high security level in terms of perimeter protection. PRODUCT FEATURES: FAAC J275 HA 2K bollard employs a cylinder with height 800mm off ground, diameter 275mm, made of SJ235JR EN 10219 steel (thickness 12,5mm), with surface treatment in anti-corrosive cataphoresis and polyester powder painted, or of stainless steel AISI 316L (thickness 12mm), with satin finishing. The support structure is in reinforced steel and the bollard and the support structure drop into a pit unit that sits in the foundation. All internal fixing frames for cables, sensors, etc., are made of stainless steel, to prevent corrosion. The protection rate of the hydraulic unit is IP67. Bollard speed on normal duty: Rising Time 8s / Lowering Time 4,5s The above operation time must be kept constant on defined duty cycle. Cylinder above ground is visible on all environment conditions, having a 55mm high reflecting strip all around the cylinder itself, as well as LED lights that flash when bollard moves and stay permanently ON when upraised. This Bollard is designed to stop a vehicle weighing 6.800 kg, running at 50Km/hour and having capability to adsorb at least an energy of 656.000 Joules as defined in accordance to ASTM F2656-07 standards. The above performance are obtained in installations, realised according to the supplied manual. HYDRAULIC DRIVE UNIT: Hydraulic drive unit is integrated into the bollard cylinder and consists of a pump unit, powered by an electric motors (voltage 230AC) able to grant suitable operation. In case of power failure while the bollard is upraised, the cylinder remains in position. A mechanical valve to lower manually the cylinder is accessible with dedicated key on the cylinder head, but protected by an anti-burglar armored lock. Hydraulic unit is supplied with a “Gentle Stop” function to slow down the movement in the last 3cm of the opening (lowering) movement to reduce the stress of the impact. INSTALLATION COMPLEMENTS: The bollard is installed in a dedicated modular pit complete with counter-frame. CONTROL BOARD: It’s supplied with 230VAC voltage – 50/60Hz. The control board is external and can manage up to 3 bollards. It’s Equipped with a built-in dual loop detector and includes programmable logic and provides all commands for normal operation. To link the bollard and the control board, a 16+1 conductors -min 1,5mm section- cable shall be employed. OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND WEATHER CONDITIONS: Bollard shall be fully operational within following conditions: Operating temperature -15 °C / +55 °C Operating temperature with heater (accessory) -25 °C / +55 °C OPTIONS: The cylinder finishing can be: - Cataphoresis and polyester powder painted Dark grey metallized - Stainless steel satin finishing ACCESSORIES: A pressure switch can be added to automatically reverse the upward movement in case an obstacle is hit while closing. A solenoid valve can be added to automatically lower the bollard in case of power failure. The above accessories are not recommended for usages in security applications, as they subordinate the perimeter protection to the safe circulation of the vehicles A Pit heater can be added, to operate also at extreme low temperatures (as below specified).
