GROW Mobile System with Recessed Rail
As cannabis legalization expands, indoor cultivators are striving to produce consistent, high-quality products while also controlling costs and boosting yields. Optimizing space in new or existing cultivation facilities is a smart way to gain more canopy in less space.
The GROW Mobile System eliminates wasted aisle space and allows for multiple levels of growing area. By maximizing space, reducing energy use, and improving efficiency, it helps create better places to work and grow.
The GROW system moves to take full advantage of available floor space. It can reach up to 60 feet long and up to 30 feet (9.14m) tall (with engineering approval), allowing for two, three, or even four tiers of growing space. Rail systems guide GROW carriages to optimize space, provide access to aisles, facilitate smooth carriage movement, and are designed to resist corrosion. Rail options include recessed and surface mount. The rails can be placed on leveled or unleveled floor and include anti-tip options.
RAIL OPTION - Recessed (Included):
Recessed rails can be installed into new or existing flooring. Smooth carriage movement is assured due to staggered joints that provide smooth transitions throughout the room.
Available in corrosion-resistant stainless steel or zinc-coated steel.
CARRIAGES:
Assembled structural steel carriage base with a maximum capacity of 3000 lbs. (1,360kg) per carriage section. Low profile wheels are part of our patented drop-in wheel assemblies that disperse weight and can accommodate heavy loads with minimal wear over the life of the system with mounting the system just 4" (102mm) from the floor. The carriage is constructed with diagonal cross bracing that provides increased alignment to reduce the risk of racking at extended lengths with heavy loads. Carriage components are painted with powder-coat antimicrobial paint to reduce the amount of steel exposed to harsh environments and help mitigate rust accumulation.
Dimensions:
Full carriage length can reach up to 60’ (18m) long.
Section lengths range from 36” (914mm) to 96” (2438mm) and widths from 24” (609.6 mm) to 60” (1524mm).
Most common section sizes are 48” (1219mm) x 96” (2438mm) and 48” (1219 mm) x 48” (1219mm) to integrate with industry leading horticulture accessory brands.
Mode of Operation:
Mechanical Assist system operation control allows staff to safely and easily move thousands of pounds with minimal effort.
Aisle Widths:
When planning aisle space for a bank of carriages, consider the sizing of equipment needed to access upper levels during planting/harvesting as well as the turning radius needed to access the aisle. Additionally, check local accessibility regulations (ADA) and fire code for minimum standards and requirements.
VERTICAL RACKING
Our Widespan GROW shelving is designed with fully welded uprights to maximize window spacing and provide stable, long-term support for plants, pots, and everything else you need to create an optimal growing environment. GROW White paint is designed for UV exposure and humid environments, with high reflectivity, excellent color fastness, and antimicrobial properties.
Dimensions:
Uprights are available standard up to 16’ (4876mm) tall.
Heights range from 60” (1524mm) to 192” (4876mm)
Upright design allows for 1- 1/2" (38mm) vertical adjustment of welded 6” (152.4mm) horizontal braces with a maximum spacing of 48” (1219.2mm) between braces.
Allows for 1½” (38mm) vertical adjustment of horizontal beams.
Upright depths 24” (609mm) to 48” (1219mm).
Beam design offers configured sizes in 1” (25mm) increments between 48” (1219mm) and 96” (2438mm) in length.
Optional Accessories
Promote drainage, prevent accidental run-off, and raise plants off the tray surface.
