Special cartridge of the faucets allows the user to set an upper limit on water flow. While standard cartridges yield 20 lt/min flow rate at 3 bar pressure, the special heat and flow rate adjustable cartridge can be set to a2 lt/min flow rate under the same conditions to save water by up to 90%.

These products fulfill Green building certification (LEED, BREEAM and DGNB) criteria with their environmentally-friendly features including lower environmental footprint, water, conservation and the use of local materials, as well as life cycle assessment (LCA), envirenmental product declaration (EPD) and sustainable forestry (FSC), certificates. They are recommended for projects aiming for a Green building certification.

The grey band on the cartridge can be used to set an upper limit on water temperature, saving energy by avoiding unnecessary heating.
