FESSURA

Fessura is a modular recessed technical product transforming the light design into a work of art for façade arrangements. A product that underlines architectural elements through a blade of light that can be completely concealed and channelled to create flexible compositions and customised architectural lighting effects. Fessura was planned and designed by the architect Claudio Silvestrin who was inspired by the cut of light of a shooting star: "Perhaps, out of fear or weakness, each fissure of life appears as a failure or as a misfortune, forgetting that it is instead a way for light to pass through. The light not only illuminates but also makes us see beyond the wall, revealing the possibility of other worlds. Every fissure is a glimpse of light that life itself grants us."

Specifikace

Product composed by an optical unit and a recessed box, to be purchased separately. The recessed box is made of extruded primary aluminium, anodized in black colour. Patent pending optical group, consisting of a system of lenses made of aluminised PMMA. The optical group, with IP65 protection rating, can be connected in series or in parallel in order to create almost infinite lines of light. The PCB is protected by conformal coating process, which prevents oxidation. Pre-treatment with atmospheric pressure plasma is carried out on the surface before gluing of the PCB on Platek products.
